In the film, it was revealed that a Bengali-language remake of Hindi horror film Dhoom 3 will be based on the horror manga. However, now we know that this will only be the second time that Hindi language horror movies will be adapted into English. With Bollywood learning how to adapt movies in English, Hollywood isn’t so worried about one epic adaptation after another. Now you can watch all your favourites in HD!
Bengali Horror Movie Dhoom 3 Bollywood’s New Skill-Set
During Dhoom 3’s production, producer-actress Rhea Harry was cast as the lead role. Bollywood has been known for its love of Bollywood since its inception in the 50s, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that a Bengali-language version of Dhoom 3 would become a part of the Hollywood landscape.
To make the movie even more of an international smash, a Malayalam-language movie, titled “Dhoon Maarge”, was also based on the Dhoom 3 script.
However, it is the new skill set of Bollywood that will definitely help it take on an international audience. While Dhoom 3 dedicated a lot of its budget towards creating a unique and chilling atmosphere, Bollywood has also been developing its own unique skill-set that can help it tackle even more challenging projects.
First, the studio has turned its attention to the visual effects and character design, which are the backbone of any horror movie. VFX house Group Bollywood has been churning out visual effects for decades, so it’s no surprise that the house of particles has a reputation for creating mind-bending effects.
Next, a new and more creative approach towards animation has been applied. The studio has been using the process of “recording and printing” to create thousands of additional characters for the movie.
