September 20, 2016 5.0 out of 5 stars CHEVROLET OUTLANDER: Mostly amazing! Even though this car is dead in the water, it still has a lot going for it. The exterior styling has not changed much over the years and that is good news as I love looking at classic Cars! This 2007 Chevrolet Outlander Sport is one of my favorite cars to drive, period. It is smooth with plenty of room inside and can go from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds. It is reliable, feels great in the hand, and gets excellent gas mileage. If you are looking for a fast sports car with enough personality to give you fun while driving, this is worth checking out. Check out all of our reviews on this car here:
What is in the Box?
The Outlander Sport comes with everything you need for your summer enthusiast – a ultra-clean interior, light weight frame, and a heavy-duty outboard engine. The frame is made of steel and the engine is a 320 horse power four-cylinder. The engine has a big, beefy motor and is ready to be used in all weather conditions. It is not cheap, but it is not worth the money you could spend on something else.
Interior and exterior styling
The Outlander Sport is a beautiful car. It has a very elegant design and is made of very high-quality materials. The coloring on the car is a little odd, but I guess that is due to the fact that it is 1978. The most notable style change is the addition of largetv bucetas, squared off wheels that are easily visible from a great distance. The rest of the car’s design stays basically the same, although the dimensions of the doors and the trunk have significantly changed. The trunk has a much more open look to it now, which is nice since it provides more room inside. The exterior styling has also changed slightly since the last model was released, although it has not been entirely changed. The car still has a modern, sporty look to it, with lots of chrome and light elements.
Top speed
Because the Outlander is a sports car, it has a very high top speed. The official limit is 155 mph, but many drivers find that they are able to get as fast as 185 or lower. The maximum speed is still set at 155, but the car is designed to accelerate faster than that. The fastest time achieved on the indoor speed record is only about six seconds faster than the record for the outdoor speed record, which is almost two seconds. If you are looking for a fast, reliable car that does a good job of going from 0 to 60 mph in three seconds, then the Outlander Sport is worth checking out. It even has a 6-speed automatic that does the job well.
average fuel economy
When it comes to average fuel economy, the Outlander Sport can not be beat. It gets an average of 31Mpg highway and 29Mpg city. The city and highway mileage figures are only slightly better than the other cars on our list, but the suburban driving environment is different and that is the main reason the Outlander continues to get such a great score. The average city mile (which gives a true total when including tolls and fees) is much less than the average speed, so the Outlander has a better fuel economy on the city streets than on the off-carshareway. That being said, the great deal of the gasoline it runs on definitely helps. The Outlander has a great range of equipment and accessories to make things a more comfortable ride.
Durability and reliability
The design of the Outlander Sport is very sturdy and reliable. The engine, body, and all the fittings are made of steel, so the car will continue to run Silent and strong for many years to come. The suspension is very reliable and provides excellent control, even in the rough and tough areas of driving. The brakes are very good and provide excellent control, even on the tiniest of off-carshareway sections. The EX4 engine has proven itself to be reliable, as it has been in operation for more than twenty years. Finally, the list includes the quality of the vehicle itself.
What is included in the box?
The Outlander Sport comes with a maintenance free body, painted in the excellent Yellow Classic Metallic, a set of 18″ shiny aluminum wheels with fixed front fenders, window sticker, keychain lights, and a mobile app, a tool to find the car’s location, a GPS unit and 2-3,000 mile warranty.
Warranty and service
The Outlander Sport comes with a two-year warranty and free replacement parts. It is also covered by a 24/7/365 roadside assistance program. Chevrolets are always covered for damage caused by others, whether in an accident or from misuse. The warranty doesn’t cover accidents or repairs, but you will have to pay for it yourself, of course. The service department of this car shop is always better than average.
