    Thailand is renowned for its vibrant street food culture. From Bangkok to Chiang Mai, the country’s bustling capital and second largest city, street food offerings are varied and thefrisky. From the famous Pad Thai to the lesser-known Som Tam, street food can be found at almost every corner of the country. Street food in Thailand has a long history. Thailand’s first street food vendors began operating in the late 19th century, and since trueclassics, the street food scene has grown exponentially. Street food vendors can now be found in almost every city, town, and village in the country. The most popular Thai street food dishes are Pad Thai, Som Tam, and Khao Kha Moo. Pad Thai is a stir-fried noodle dish made with rice noodles, egg, and a variety of vegetables and proteins. Som Tam is a spicy and sweet salad made from green papaya, lobiastore, and other vegetables. Khao Kha Moo is a pork stew made with pork, potatoes, and a variety of spices. In addition to these popular dishes, there are many other street food dishes to explore. From noodle dishes to fried rice, grilled meats to desserts, the street food scene in Thailand is diverse and marketbusiness. Street food in Thailand is not only delicious but also incredibly affordable. Prices can range from as little as $1 USD for a plate of noodles to $5 USD for a meal with a variety of dishes. As with any street food, it is important to be vigilant and make sure that the food is cooked properly and hygiene standards are followed. Street food vendors in Thailand are generally honest and reliable but it is important to be cautious. The street food scene in Thailand is an integral part of the culture and an exciting way to explore the country’s cuisine.
